National Feeds – Industrial Bird Control & Bird Netting Project
AL WAHA Bird Control successfully completed a large-scale industrial bird control project for National Feeds, one of the UAE’s major grain and feed production facilities. The project involved the installation of specialized bird netting and pigeon control systems across multiple operational zones including production areas, warehouse facilities, logistics sections, workshops, ceiling structures, loading zones, and external building areas.
Large grain production facilities naturally attract pigeons and pest birds due to the continuous presence of grain materials, food residue, storage activity, and open operational access points. Over time, the facility experienced severe pigeon infestation throughout indoor and outdoor areas, particularly within elevated ceiling structures, steel framework, warehouse roofs, workshop sections, and logistics zones where birds were nesting, roosting, and contaminating operational environments.
Bird droppings, feathers, nesting materials, and constant bird activity created ongoing hygiene concerns, contamination risks, operational maintenance issues, and health hazards within sensitive industrial and food-related environments. The infestation also increased the risk of equipment contamination, blocked drainage areas, structural corrosion, and unsafe working conditions throughout the facility.
Our bird control specialists designed and implemented a customized industrial bird exclusion system using high-quality UV-protected low-visibility bird netting engineered for large-scale industrial environments. The solution was carefully installed to restrict pigeon access to high-risk nesting and roosting areas while maintaining operational functionality, airflow, and structural accessibility across the facility.
The completed installation now provides long-term pigeon exclusion, contamination prevention, improved hygiene standards, and enhanced operational protection throughout the National Feeds facility. The project significantly reduced bird activity across critical production and logistics areas while delivering a humane, safe, and highly effective bird control solution suitable for demanding industrial and food production environments in the UAE.
