National Feeds Bird Control Project was successfully completed by AL WAHA Bird Control as a large-scale industrial bird proofing and pigeon control solution for one of the UAE’s leading grain and feed production facilities. The project involved the installation of specialized bird netting systems and bird deterrent solutions across multiple operational zones including production areas, warehouse facilities, logistics sections, workshops, ceiling structures, loading bays, and external building areas.
Large grain production facilities naturally attract pigeons and pest birds due to the continuous presence of grain materials, food residue, storage activity, and open operational access points. Prior to the National Feeds Bird Control Project, the facility experienced severe pigeon infestation throughout both indoor and outdoor areas, particularly within elevated ceiling structures, steel framework, warehouse roofs, workshop sections, and logistics zones where birds were nesting, roosting, and contaminating operational environments.
Bird droppings, feathers, nesting materials, and constant bird activity created ongoing hygiene concerns, contamination risks, operational maintenance challenges, and health hazards within sensitive industrial and food-related environments. The infestation also increased the risk of equipment contamination, blocked drainage systems, structural corrosion, and unsafe working conditions throughout the facility.
To address these challenges, our bird control specialists developed a customized industrial bird exclusion strategy as part of the National Feeds Bird Control Project. The solution utilized premium UV-protected, low-visibility bird netting engineered specifically for large-scale industrial environments. The netting system was carefully installed to restrict pigeon access to high-risk nesting and roosting locations while maintaining operational efficiency, airflow, safety, and structural accessibility throughout the facility.
The completed National Feeds Bird Control Project now delivers long-term pigeon exclusion, contamination prevention, improved hygiene standards, and enhanced operational protection across critical production and logistics areas. The installation has significantly reduced bird activity while providing a humane, safe, and highly effective bird control solution suitable for demanding industrial and food production facilities throughout the UAE.
