AL WAHA Bird Control successfully completed a specialized bird proofing project at Sharjah Nobel Quran & Sunnah Est, located in Sharjah, UAE. The project was undertaken to address persistent pigeon activity around the exterior sections of the building where birds were frequently landing, roosting, and creating hygiene and maintenance concerns.
The building’s architectural ledges, decorative façade elements, window projections, and exterior structural surfaces provided attractive resting areas for pigeons. Over time, bird activity resulted in the accumulation of droppings, feathers, and nesting materials that affected the cleanliness and appearance of the property while increasing maintenance requirements.
Following a detailed site assessment, AL WAHA Bird Control designed and implemented a tailored bird proofing solution utilizing a combination of stainless steel bird spikes and professional bird gel deterrent systems. Bird spikes were strategically installed along exterior ledges, façade projections, architectural features, and bird landing areas to physically prevent pigeons from perching and roosting on the structure.
To further enhance protection in sensitive locations where spike installation was not practical, specially formulated bird gel deterrents were professionally applied. The bird gel system creates a visual and sensory deterrent that discourages pigeons from returning to treated areas while maintaining the building’s appearance. Pigeon droppings are not only unsightly but can also cause staining and deterioration of building surfaces over time.
